How do we want to love?
Till death do us part

Love is diverse and complicated, sensual and erotic, selfish, selfless, passionate, tender, painful - all regardless of whether it is reciprocated or not. Love is a wide field. The author team Frank Diederichs, Annebeth Jacobsen and Achim Scheunert set out through the vast landscapes of love. Emmy award winner Anna Schudt lends her voice to the mini-series Love is diverse and complicated, sensual and erotic, selfish, selfless, passionate, tender, painful - all regardless of whether it is reciprocated or not. In episode 2 "Till death do us part" we turn to the "monogamous mono-culture" after the liberation of love. We meet Alexander Klein and Michael Höhn - a married couple who live and work together - as undertakers. In Paris, we travel with multiple grandmother Liliane Belhassen - a newly widowed Parisian - into the past of her happy marriage of 67 years - her husband died in 2022 shortly before filming. Saskia and Lui Michalski from Hamburg, on the other hand, show us that this monogamous culture is beginning to bear colourful blossoms. They live in a polyamorous relationship - which in their case means they are a couple, but have other relationships at the same time. This is not about free lust and love, but about several firm bonds with responsibilities that the two enter into. They all interpret Till Death Do Us Part in their own way.

The three-part series (3 x 52 minutes) is a BROADVIEW TV production. Editors for ZDF/ARTE are Shila Behjat and Wolfgang Bergmann, producers for BROADVIEW TV are Britta Luckas and Franziska Rempe. Producer is Emmy award winner Leopold Hoesch.
