For a long time, puppet theatre was associated with little more than Punch and Judy. However, modern puppet and object theatre can do much more, it is a branch of the performing arts in its own right that combines the most diverse arts and allows everything from the human-like puppet to the mere object of utility to become an actor. So puppet theatre is not only, but still of course, "kids' stuff".
