Semi-Final Judging of the International Emmy® Awards
In a glamourous setting, the semi-final judgings of this year's International Emmy® Awards once again took place at the Marienburg in Cologne on 18th June 2010. Five juries, each comprised of twelve industry-experts, decided on the advancement of the 60 remaining competition entries from all over Europe, including Germany.

Following the jury-meetings, Academy-ambassador Leopold Hoesch (BROADVIEW TV) in conjunction with the MMC Studios and Academy-member Michael Smeaton (FFP New Media), the jury and other high-profile industry representatives held a reception at the Marienburg in Cologne. The semi-final judgings in Cologne were supported by HDI Gerling, the NRW.BANK, the Filmstiftung NRW, ARRI, the History Channel and the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW.
The winners of the 2010 International Emmy® Awards were presented with the coveted Emmy-statue by more than 1.200 international representatives of broadcasters, entertainment and media companies during an elegant gala in New York on 22nd November 2010.
