Since the end of the Second World War, North Rhine-Westphalia has not only shaped the image of West Germany like hardly any other federal state, but has itself undergone numerous transformations over the decades. In six 45-minute episodes, the WDR series "Unser Land" (Our State) tells the dramatic development of NRW from the ruins of war through times of economic miracle and crisis to great innovations and new horizons in the technology and creative industries.
