BLOODOMICS
The search for the heart attack gene

BLOODOMICS - one of the largest European projects on heart attack research - employs over 180 researchers from seven different European countries. Commissioned by the EU Commission, this project started in 2004 with a budget of 9 million euros.

BROADVIEW TV accompanied the BLOODOMICS research team and set itself the task of communicating the abstract research content to the European public. By producing a high-quality image film, BROADVIEW TV succeeded in visualising the state of research on the most common cause of death in Europe and providing a moving insight into the life and fate of a person affected.

Thanks to the proven cooperation with the professional distribution partner German United Distribution, the BLOODOMICS film was able to reach an audience of millions throughout Europe and raise awareness among the population about the explosive nature of the research topic.
