The semi-final judging for this year's International Emmy® Awards took place once again in a glamorous setting at the Marienburg in Cologne on June 18, 2010. Five juries, each consisting of up to twelve industry experts, decided on the 60 remaining entries from all over Europe, including Germany. Germany.

Following the jury sessions, Academy ambassador Leopold Hoesch (BROADVIEW TV), together with MMC Studios and Academy member Michael Smeaton (FFP New Media), invited the jury and other prominent industry representatives to a reception at the Marienburg in Cologne. The Semi Final Judgings in Cologne were supported by HDI Gerling, NRW.BANK, the Filmstiftung NRW, ARRI, the History Channel and the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW.

The winners of the 2010 International Emmy® Awards will be presented with the coveted Emmy statue at a gala ceremony on November 22, 2010 in New York in front of more than 1,200 international representatives of broadcasters, entertainment and media companies.
