The Cologne Express has one of the most investigative and up-to-date sports editorial departments in Germany. This is shown by a cheeky commercial BROADVIEW TV shot on behalf of the DuMont publishing house.

After the final, the captain of the losing football team sits in the corridor outside the cabins, deeply disappointed. In the background, the victory celebration is in full swing. When a player of the winning team comes to comfort the depressed captain, he asks: "How did you know so much about us this time?" But for all his sympathy, he really cannot divulge this information. Because the sophisticated tactics and the analysis of the opponent came from the Express sports section.
