Welcome to Germany

Germany in 10 minutes? No problem! BROADVIEW TV produced the image film "Welcome to Germany", which presents the Federal Republic of Germany in all its diversity and capabilities as part of the "Germany in Japan 2005/2006" initiative.

A Japanese connecting traveller is sent on a virtual round trip through Germany by a Lufthansa employee at Frankfurt Airport. On the fast-paced tour through the most beautiful landscapes and the liveliest cities, he gets to know Germany as an interesting travel destination, a modern business location and a cultural country rich in tradition with diversity in lifestyle and art. On his journey, the Japanese meets outstanding personalities from various fields, such as Richard von Weizsäcker, Franz Beckenbauer, Paul van Dyk, Nadja Auermann or Gabriele Strehle, as well as "people from the street" who present Germany in their own personal and individual way.
