Since the end of the Second World War, North Rhine-Westphalia has not only shaped the image of West Germany like hardly any other federal state, but has also undergone numerous changes itself over the decades.
In six 45-minute episodes, the WDR series "Our State" tells the story of NRW's dramatic development from the ruins of war through times of economic miracle and crisis to major innovations and new horizons in the technology and creative industries.
