BROADVIEW TV is one of the leading independent German documentary film production companies. With its productions of contemporary history, current affairs and cultural programs the company has established itself over the last twenty years as a reliable partner for German and international broadcasters, cinema industry, VOD platforms, cable channels and distributors.

BROADVIEW TV is run by award winning producer Leopold Hoesch, who was born and raised in Cologne. In 1999, he founded the company and since then, he has successfully produced over 250 documentary films, which have won multiple Awards, including The International Emmy® Award, the German Television Price, the Magnolia Award and Banff Television Award. Leopold Hoesch is Ambassador to Germany of The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The company's success is also characterized by its specializing in Sport documentary features and thorough archival research, carefully conducted interviews. Many of the productions are written and directed by award-winning directors, completed by collaborations with major composers and orchestras, and a lavish musical score that lends a distinctive tone to the final products.

World Cup 1954 The Miracle of Bern. The 90-minute documentary was awarded the 2004 German Television Prize.

Stalingrad Nominated for the 2003 International Emmy Award (New York) and for 2004 Magnolia Award (Shanghai), this three-part German/Russian coproduction was presented at the New York Film Festival in the USA.
