Semi-Finals of the 2010 International Emmy® Awards in Cologne

On June 18th, 2010, the Semi-Final Judgings for this year's International Emmy® Awards once again took place in the opulent setting of the Marienburg of Cologne. Five panels of jurors, each comprised of around 12 industry experts, rated programs that have made it to the semi-finals from all over Europe, including Germany.

Following the jury session, Academy Ambassador Leopold Hoesch (BROADVIEW TV) with the MMC Studios and  Academy Member Michael Smeaton (FFP New Media) invited the jury and other prominent representatives of the industry to a reception. The Semi-Final Judgings in Cologne were supported by HDI Gerling, the NRW.BANK, the Filmstiftung NRW, ARRI, the History Channel and the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW.

The winners of the International Emmy® Awards 2010 will be handed their prestigious Emmy statuettes at the Awards Gala on November 22nd, 2010, in New York in front of more than 1,200 international broadcasting, entertainment and media executives.
