They are adored and admired, are idols for entire generations. These stars live their lives in public, their every move made in the full glare of the media spotlight. And some pay the ultimate price for their fame: at the zenith of their careers, their lives come to an abrupt end—and they acquire mythical status.

TOO young TO DIE tells the stories of the tragic and untimely deaths of four stars who have since become legends. The documentaries paint an intimate portrait of each of these celebrities and will focus on the person behind the myth, be it the despair of the individual or the tragedy as a whole. Contemporary witnesses who were close to the protagonists have their say; previously unreleased private film footage and documents are made public for the first time. The aim is to discover the emotional realities of the lives of the stars.
